Biography
In the fall of 2001, four Norwegian teenagers—Jonas Dahl, Arne Kvalvik, Kjetil Ovesen, and Ådne Meisfjord—launched the project that would become 120 Days, initially presenting it as Beautiful People. Once they moved to Oslo, these musicians honed their musical style while playing numerous shows across Norway and putting out a pair of EPs via the Public Demand label. Impressive appearances at major events including Reading and Leeds Festivals in the U.K. plus Sonar Festival in Spain led them to ink a deal with Smalltown Supersound in their home country, yet it was New York's Vice Records that truly took notice. The band's debut album, issued under the 120 Days name, arrived stateside during the fall of 2006.
