Biography
Spanish hip-hop outfit 7 Notas 7 Colores originated when Dive Dibosso, previously a member of Los Poetas Violentos, joined forces with MC Mucho Muchacho, born Oliver Gallego. The duo earned notice for their intricate lyrics and commanding live shows, prompting them to launch the independent label Madre. Under that banner they issued several singles plus the group’s first album, Hecho, Es Simple. Discovery by producer Juan Brujo in 1998 led Dive Dibosso and MC Mucho Muchacho to sign with Kool Arrow, which handled U.S. distribution of the record. La Madre also put out 77 in 1999.
