Formed in 1995, the British boy band 911 originated when vocalists Spike Dawbarn and Jimmy Constable, who had first connected while dancing for the TV program The Hitman and Her, joined forces; adding Lee Brennan as the third singer enabled them to cut their initial release "Night to Remember," which entered the UK Top 40 during the start of 1996. Their next track "Love Sensation" achieved greater success, and "Don't Make Me Wait" launched a streak of ten straight Top Ten chart placements that encompassed "Bodyshakin'," "The Journey" from their 1997 first album, "More Than a Woman," along with the number-one single "A Little Bit More." The year 1998 brought their second studio effort Moving On, after which the three members put out the compilation of covers There It Is at the beginning of 1999.
