Biography
Aquelarre, the Argentinean progressive rock ensemble, first entered the domestic scene via a March 1972 engagement at a neighborhood club and issued a self-titled album before the year ended. The 1973 track "Violencia en el Parque" ranked among the group’s strongest compositions. After relocating to Spain in 1975, Aquelarre maintained a temporary residence there, delivering live performances and contributing to a regional rock anthology. Internal tensions led to the band’s breakup two years later, finalized with a farewell appearance at Buenos Aires’ Luna Park that featured Carlos Cutaia on keyboards in place of Hugo González Neira.
