Formed in the early '70s as an Argentinean rock quartet once Almendra had split up, Color Humano issued its self-titled debut album in 1972. Drummer David Lebón's departure to join Pescado Rabioso brought ex-los Gatos Oscar Moro into the lineup, after which the band supplied the songs "Larga Vida Al Sol" and "Coto De Caza" to the film Rock Hasta Que Se Ponga El Sol. Two further albums followed in 1973, at which point singer/guitarist Edelmiro Molinari relocated to the U.S. and bassist Rinaldo Rafanelli entered the folk-rock group Sui Generis, prompting Color Humano's dissolution in 1974. The original members nevertheless reconvened in September 1995 to capture a live set at Buenos Aires' the Roxy, issued later that same year.
