Argentine musician David Lebón entered the rock scene in 1970 as bassist for Pappo's Blues, the group led by Norberto Napolitano. The next year he switched to drums in Edelmiro Molinari's Color Humano, then became a member of Pescado Rabioso, Luis Alberto Spinetta's band, in 1972. Although he cut his first solo album the following year, that step did not curtail his work with other acts. In 1975 the multi-instrumentalist started his own outfit, Polifemo, and soon joined the experimental rock unit Seru Giran, where he performed with Charly García, Pedro Aznar, and Oscar Moro. David Lebón issued Nayla in 1980.
