Azari & III

Emerging from Toronto's underground warehouse parties, the Canadian electro duo Azari & III, whose name is pronounced "Azari and Third," channeled the four-on-the-floor beats characteristic of 1980s house music to build their reputation as DJs. Dinamo Azari and Alixander III cut their debut single "Hungry for Power" for Trax Records in 2010, enlisting Fritz Helder and Starving Yet Full among numerous collaborators who would join them over time. Loose Lips Records put out the duo's self-titled debut album in 2011, which included that track. Their contribution to Get Physical's mix series, Body Language, Vol. 13, came out two years afterward, alongside the aptly titled Remix Album also released in 2013. In 2015, Idol Hanse issued Rarities from Extremities, a compilation of previously unreleased and stray recordings.
