Biography
Originating from Nashville, Tennessee, Bad Cop performs as a punky indie rock ensemble. The Germs and Nirvana served as key influences for frontman Adam Moult, who began composing the band's songs at fifteen years old during limited guitar practice sessions permitted at his boarding school. Upon finishing that educational stint, Moult established the group alongside guitar-playing companion Alex Hartness, subsequently incorporating bassist Mike Frazier and drummer Kevin Kilpatrick. ROIR, the renowned hardcore imprint, inked a deal with Bad Cop in 2010 after reviewing their demo recordings and issued the debut full-length Harvest the Beast during the same year. Issued via the band's own independent outlet Jeffery Drag, the EP titled The Light On arrived in 2013.
