Biography
Describing the solo endeavor Blank Dogs as highly productive falls well short of the mark. Although its recordings appeared exclusively through tiny independent outlets, the volume proved substantial and earned widespread critical praise, with multiple 2007 titles appearing on year-end lists. Expectations only grew for 2008, when the project lined up a dozen separate releases. That ambitious schedule encompassed several 7" EPs, an untitled full-length album, and assorted singles anthologies issued by Troubleman, Slowboy, and 4:4:2. By 2009 In the Red Records had signed the artist, issuing Under and Under both as a standard CD and as an expanded LP containing five additional tracks.
