Biography
Blazing Eternity originated in Copenhagen, Denmark during the mid-1990s, featuring vocalist Peter Mesnickow along with guitarists Morten Lybecker and Kim Larsen, bassist Anders Kristiansen, and drummer Lars Korsholm. Their early efforts, evident in the 1995 demo "Over Sorte Heder" and the 1997 demo "Der Hviler En Nat Under Sorte Vinterböge," aligned them with the European heavy metal landscape, yet the band soon shifted toward a milder gothic hard rock style first showcased on the 2000 release Times and Unknown Waters. The 2003 album A World to Drown In continued this progression with even greater accessibility.
