Biography
In late 2014, Manchester served as the founding city for Blood Red Saints, assembled by four experienced British hard rock musicians who borrowed the group’s name from a little-known 1920s speedway squad in New York. Vocalist Pete Godfrey of In Faith, guitarist Lee Revill from the Gary Hughes Band, bassist Rob Naylor with Angels or Kings, and drummer Pete Newdeck formerly of Eden’s Curse immediately entered the studio and inked a contract with the notable Italian imprint Frontiers Records. Their inaugural full-length release, Speedway, appeared in spring 2015 and presents a robust, melody-focused metal approach.
