Bobby Brackins

Bobby Brackins, the rapper, songwriter, and producer born and raised in Oakland, California, first concentrated on creating material for other performers once he relocated to Los Angeles. Although projects such as the 2011 mixtape The Young and Hungover with YG surfaced during that stretch, his behind-the-scenes work remained the priority, especially across 2014. That year brought a BMI Award for co-writing Chris Brown's "Loyal" and a co-writing credit on Tinashe's "2 On," Billboard's top R&B song of the year. Toward the close of 2014 he refocused on solo output through the single "Hot Box" featuring G-Eazy, then paired with Jeremih and Zendaya on the 2015 release "My Jam."
