Baeza

Originating from Fresno, California, Anthony Baeza works as an American rapper and producer whose laid-back yet confident delivery matches lyrics that shift between inward reflection and outright indulgence. He started making hip-hop beats during his teenage years, then moved into sharing homemade video clips of his songs online beginning in 2011, one early example being the split-themed cut “Far from Ready.” After spending several seasons issuing independent singles, performing on the road, and founding the apparel label Striktly Business, he dropped the full-length mixtape Dough and Dro together with the studio EP Right on Time in 2013. Live dates alongside 2 Chainz followed, as did guest spots on recordings by Baby Bash, Sage the Gemini, Lucky Luciano, and additional artists. His second EP, The Man, arrived in 2014; the following year he reworked the project into a complete album once he signed with San Francisco-based Empire Distribution.
