California rapper Joe Moses kicked off his professional path through several prominent joint ventures. Growing up in Los Angeles, he drew inspiration from 2Pac, although a period of incarceration put his music goals on hold. Following his release, he relocated to Atlanta and signed with Brick Squad Monopoly, the imprint run by Waka Flocka Flame. The 2011 regional hit "I Do It for the Ratchets" brought him early notice. In 2013 he appeared on Ty Dolla $ign’s “Paranoid,” but Atlantic Records required B.o.B to replace Moses’ verse ahead of its radio push. Sensing insufficient support, he later left the Brick Squad roster. A brief stint at Pinnacle Records ended after three weeks, prompting his return to L.A. The 2017 single “On My Bumper” marked a reunion with Ty Dolla $ign. In 2018 the Future collaboration “Back Goin Brazy” arrived, along with further tracks that formed his Trap Angeles 2 mixtape. Rounding out the year, the SuWop EP showcased contributions from Snoop Dogg, Wiz Khalifa and additional guests. Moses first linked with RJmrLA on “Stop It,” then followed later that year with “All Rap,” which also included Young Thug. He gained further traction via the “Go Viral” single that featured Metro Boomin and Future.
