Biography
Kirko Bangz, a Houston-rooted Southern rapper who also sings on occasion, projects the persona of a less sensitive Drake. Late in 2010 he issued his debut charting single, “What Yo Name Iz.” The follow-up Warner Bros. track “Drank in My Cup” emerged the next summer, coinciding with the arrival of the DJ Drama-presented mixtape Procrastination Kills, Pt. 3.
