Biography
Formed in Baltimore, Maryland, during 1997, the pop-rock quartet Brickfoot features Steve Silver on guitar and lead vocals, Chipper handling bass duties, fellow guitarist Frank D'Angelo, and drummer Jay T. The four musicians had already built a close friendship well before launching the band, a rapport that translates directly into both their stage presence and recorded material. By 2000 the group had completed its first album, Poly Carbon Lens, whose track listing includes "Two Week Notice," "Fast Forward," "Anyone But Me," and "Bubble Boy." Over the course of its career Brickfoot has collected strong notices from reviewers, claimed the National Band to Band Combat title, and appeared in major outlets such as Rolling Stone and Spin. The band has also performed on The Jenny Jones Show and supported major acts including Kiss and Nine Days.
