Biography
In the 2000s, entertainment demanded versatility from rising talents and offered little tolerance for those who confined themselves to one pursuit. This climate made it unsurprising when young actress Brie Larson issued a full-length project via Universal, following the same path expected of tween idols such as Hilary Duff and Lindsay Lohan. Born October 1, 1989, in Sacramento, CA, Larson had already begun performing in comedy segments on The Tonight Show by the closing years of the 1990s. In 2001 she appeared on the short-lived Bob Saget sitcom Raising Dad, took part in the Disney Channel production Right On Track, and starred in the 2004 theatrical release Sleepover. Her debut album, Finally Out of P.E., arrived in October 2005.
