Bruno Major from Britain fuses the introspective style of classic singer-songwriters with refined contemporary electronic production that carries undercurrents of soul. Based in Camden, London, and schooled as a classical guitarist, he issued the 2014 live recording Live EP. Recognition first arrived in 2016 when he began issuing one new song each month for an entire year, an effort that stretched through 2017 and yielded the album A Song for Every Moon. He supported the run of digital releases with regular London shows, occasionally opening for Lianne La Havas.

Mid-2010s listeners accumulated through that monthly series, after which his debut album and the 2020 follow-up To Let a Good Thing Die brought wider international notice. By 2018 his touring had reached the United States, including an appearance at Bonnaroo, plus a circuit through Asia. Singles continued through 2019 and into early 2020 ahead of the June arrival of To Let a Good Thing Die. A three-year hiatus ended with the 2023 release of the lush and cinematic single "We Were Never Really Friends," after which he scheduled a round of international dates.
