Hailing from Metro Detroit yet now calling Brooklyn home, Charlie Burg works as a versatile vocalist, composer, and music producer. His 2015 arrival showcased a warm, soulful aesthetic that fuses alternative R&B, indie rock, folk, and electronic pop. Following a series of varied EPs, he issued his first full-length project, Infinitely Tall, in 2022, then delivered the Thank you for the love EP two years later.

Raised in Detroit, Michigan, Burg drew early inspiration from Al Green, Marvin Gaye, and The Temptations, while pointing to synagogue singing as the spark that ignited his musical path. During his late teens he refined those abilities at the Setnor School of Music at Syracuse University. He put out the Blue Wave Mosaic mixtape in 2015, then Live in Peter’s Attic in 2016, before issuing three further EPs—One, Violet (2017), Two, Moonlight (2018), and Three, Fever (2019)—and eventually signing with New York’s independent Fader label.

His debut album, Infinitely Tall, arrived in 2022 as a fifteen-track set that hops across genres while offering richly detailed material full of pop craftsmanship; Burg co-produced the record with Mike Malchicoff and performed every instrument himself. In 2024 he followed up with the Thank you for the love EP and the standalone single “On and On.”
