Biography
Greg Elsasser and Sam Martin assembled the frenetic indie rock band Capgun Coup amid the suburban wilds of Omaha, NE. Their debut album, Brought to You by Nebraskafish, appeared in 2007 after the lineup was rounded out by Eric Ohlsson and Andy Matz. The group established downtown Omaha as its nerve center, devoting itself to house parties and basement shows in order to develop into a solid live act before the record surfaced. Maudlin followed in 2009, delivering a satiric commentary on the state of American life.
