Biography
Hailing from Atlanta, Georgia, singer and songwriter Malachiae Warren saw his early momentum fueled by producer Jasper Cameron, whose credits include work with Lloyd, August Alsina, Ciara, and Tinashe. While still a teenager, Warren developed an online audience via YouTube uploads that featured covers of recent hits such as Chris Brown's "Don't Judge Me," Future's "Neva End," and Miguel's "How Many Drinks?," alongside official videos for his own tracks "Off My Mind" and "4 Reasons." He made the free EP The Rideout available in 2015 and secured a Motown contract several months afterward. That August the label issued a Migos-assisted version of the project’s “Thank Yo Momma” as Warren’s first official single. Motown then delivered the six-track EP Heard U Was in My City the following March.
