Over the course of the 2000s and 2010s, Clarence Bucaro crisscrossed the United States on tour, steadily cultivating listeners for his relaxed, thoughtful folk-rock. Those persistent efforts produced tangible returns: he drew notable admirers, among them singer/songwriter Allison Moorer, and earned two placements in NPR's Mountain Stage New Song Music Contest.

Born and raised in Cleveland, Ohio, Bucaro took to the road across America in his late teens before establishing himself in Brooklyn. The demo collection Sweet Corn appeared in 2002, followed two years later by the full-length Sense of Light. 'Til Spring arrived in 2008 and New Orleans in 2009. Walls of the World surfaced in 2012, with Dreaming from the Heart of New York following in 2013 and Hills to Home in 2014. Like the 1st Time was released in 2015. Pendulum emerged in 2016, featuring a guest turn from Allison Moorer, while the 2017 album Tableau was co-produced by Tom Schick.
