Biography
Hailing from Los Angeles, California, USA, the four-piece rap outfit included Rom, Squeak, the Q and DJ B-Selector. Virgin Records put out their initial long-player in 1992, a fairly formulaic set of street tales built on funk and soul samples that scraped the bottom of the Billboard rankings that year even though critics gave it only faint praise. Nuttin’ Less, their 1994 sophomore release, contained the minor hit single ‘Rollin’’, though it likewise did not succeed in propelling them toward broader acceptance.
