Decadence

Decadence, a melodic thrash metal outfit based in Stockholm, Sweden, came together in 2003 when guitarists Christian Lindholm and Niclas Radberg, both formerly of Devastator, joined forces with Demented bassist Kenneth Lantz and vocalist Kitty Saric, whose earlier credits included Divine Dominion and Dekapitera. The project, briefly known as Ravenous, saw its debut album arrive in 2005 under its final name, yet only Saric and Lantz remained from the original lineup by then; the remaining spots went to rhythm guitarist Michael Sjölund, late of Tramumatage, and drummer Patrik Frögéli, previously with Defeaning Silence. Later that same year the band issued its follow-up, The Creature, and two years after that delivered 3rd Stage of Decay, by which time the ever-shifting roster comprised Saric, Lantz, second guitarist Daniel Green, bassist Joakim Antman, and drummer Erik Röjås.
