Biography
Guitarist Lars, previously a member of Convulsion and Inanimate, launched Defleshed and brought ex-Crematorium bassist Gustaf aboard soon after they completed a demo. Several cuts from that recording, which would later form the basis of the group’s first album, surfaced on an Italian single and a German compilation. Invasion issued the mini-album Ma Belle Scapelle in 1994, and two years later the band delivered its full-length debut, Abrah Kadavrah. Under the Blade introduced Defleshed to U.S. audiences in 1998, with Fast Forward and Death the High Cost of Living and Abrah Kadavrah: Ma Belle Scalpelle both arriving in 2000.
