Biography
In 1987 the death metal outfit Fleshcrawl first assembled. Four years afterward the group issued its debut album, Descent Into the Absurd, whose lineup comprised vocalist Alex Pretzer, guitarist/bassist Mike Hanus, guitarist Stefan Hanus, and drummer/vocalist Bastian Herzog, prompting repeated comparisons with Cannibal Corpse. The follow-up Impurity surfaced in 1993. Three years of relentless road work preceded the arrival of Bloodsoul in 1996. Sven Gross supplanted Pretzer ahead of the 1997 release Bloodred Massacre. As Blood Rains from the Sky, We Walk the Endless Path of Fire emerged during spring 2000.
