Biography
Denise de Kalafe, a singer and songwriter born in Brazil yet raised in Mexico, attained worldwide recognition through her 1972 hit single "El Amor, Cosa Tan Rara." After launching her career with a debut in 1969, she has issued more than fifteen albums, among them the 2012 release Detalles, a tribute to the Latin pop superstar Roberto Carlos.
