Designer Drugs

Established in 2005, The Designer Drugs operate out of Boston, MA as a psychobilly outfit that merges glam-punk aesthetics. Emily Dee fronts the group on vocals while Rodney Schuyler and Dain Fiacco handle guitar duties, Juston Speed plays bass, and Barry Lurker occupies the drum seat. The band issued its first full-length album, By Rx Only, through Altercation Records in 2008. Their cited influences encompass New York punk acts like the New York Dolls and the Ramones, British punk bands such as the Clash and Siouxsie and the Banshees, and Johnny Cash as well.
