Biography
Hailing from Calgary, Devon Cole works as a Canadian singer/songwriter whose alt-pop output delivers addictive tracks laced with feminist themes. She first surfaced in 2020 via the upbeat single “July for the Whole Year,” which spread rapidly across TikTok. The Toronto-based artist, shaped by influences ranging from Shania Twain and Avril Lavigne to Maggie Rogers and Spencer Sutherland, issued her self-released debut album Party for One in 2021. Its Goldchain-produced standout “Alive” drew interest from Arista Records. Cole’s first major-label single, the sharp and assertive “W.I.T.C.H.,” appeared in 2022 and was included on the 2023 EP 1-800-Got-Stress. She kept releasing music in 2024 with the tracks “Good Guy” and “I Got You,” the latter of which reached millions of streams.
