Digga D rose within West London's 1011/CGM collective as one of U.K. drill's most distinctive and forward-thinking voices, shaping the style through uncommon rhythmic deliveries and a gift for catchy phrases. London's Metropolitan Police repeatedly restricted his output, yet he maintained commercial dominance from the late 2010s into the early 2020s via major singles such as "No Diet" and "Bringing It Back."

The rapper, based in Ladbroke Grove, helped form the crew 1011 after the W10 and W11 postcodes. Underground attention followed 2016 tracks including "Play for the Pagans" and "No Hook," but national exposure arrived through the "Next Up" freestyle series. There, alongside Sav'O and TY, his performance drew tens of millions of views and showcased an unconventional cadence paired with direct writing that marked him as an emerging talent.

Legal troubles defined the subsequent period. An arrest in late 2017 produced a Criminal Behaviour Order that restricted his lyrics, limited his circle, and required Metropolitan Police clearance for every future release. Although many official videos disappeared, repeated fan uploads only heightened interest in the West London artist. While serving multiple custodial sentences toward the end of the decade, Digga and the rebranded CGM added to their catalogue with "No Porkies" and "Who's on What," released "With Intent" under the DoubleTap alias, and marked their 2019 return with the Sav'O collaboration "Who?"

"No Diet" opened the door to wider success, logging nine weeks on the charts and reaching number 20 through its signature staccato hook and irreverent wordplay. Still imprisoned, he delivered the debut mixtape Double Tap Diaries, pairing atmospheric productions from Ghosty and M1OnTheBeat with his bold flows and playful content. The project peaked at number 11 on the U.K. albums chart. He closed the year with the Russ Millions collaboration "Mr Sheeen" and the CGM cut "10+1."

The 2020 rollout began with "Woi," which reached number 24 on the strength of its memorable ad-libs, quotable lines, and extravagant Crip-referencing video. "Chingy (It's Whatever)" climbed to number 18 and sparked a dance trend by reworking Chingy's "Right Thurr." A commanding Daily Duppy appearance preceded his first top-five entry, "Bringing It Back," a partnership with AJ Tracey drawn from the 2017 "Next Up" performance. His second mixtape, Made in the Pyrex, arrived in February 2021. Featuring CGM, M1llionz, and AJ Tracey, the project sustained his momentum and landed at number three on the U.K. album charts.
