Biography
Germany's Double Crush Syndrome, whose name stems from the medical condition in which nerves compressed at one site grow vulnerable to injury at another, fuse vintage Sunset Strip sleaze-metal with snarling hard rock shot through with punk energy. The power trio—drummer Julian Fischer, bassist/vocalist Slick Prolidol, and guitarist/vocalist Andy Brings, formerly of Sodom and Traceelords—came together in 2013. Over the next three years the band sharpened its live act by regularly supporting acts such as Sebastian Bach, Hardcore Superstar, W.A.S.P., Loudness, and Doro, eventually signing with Arising Empire, a Nuclear Blast imprint, in 2016. Their debut album, Die for Rock N' Roll, appeared the year after.
