Hailing from Cambridge, England, the five-piece retro-rock outfit the Treatment fuses classic hard rock with heavy metal in a forceful style.

The group, whose sound recalls the high-energy attitude of AC/DC, Thin Lizzy, the Cult, and Guns N' Roses, came together in 2008 before issuing its first full-length album, This Might Hurt, on Spinefarm Records in 2011. Shortly after came a series of live dates alongside Alice Cooper, Steel Panther, and Thin Lizzy, plus a prominent slot at the 2012 Download Festival at Castle Donnington. Further road work with Kiss and Mötley Crüe, along with an Ozzfest slot, set the stage for the sophomore release Running with the Dogs, again on Spinefarm. Following several personnel shifts that included the exit of lead singer Matt Jones, the Treatment signed with Frontiers in 2015 and began recording a new set. Generation Me appeared in early 2016, introducing vocalist Mitchel Emms and guitarist Tao Grey to the lineup. Emms departed in 2017, with Tom Rampton stepping in to make his recorded debut on the 2019 album Power Crazy.
