Otherwise emerged from Las Vegas in 2011 when streaming platforms propelled their debut single “Soldiers” into widespread attention and established their blistering hard-rock approach. Subsequent releases continued to balance introspective post-grunge textures with propulsive hard-rock drive across Peace at All Costs (2014), Defy (2019), and Gawdzillionaire (2023).

Brothers Adrian Patrick on vocals and Ryan Patrick on guitar formed the group and remain its only permanent members. They refined their craft through regional performances, cultivating a devoted audience drawn to an emotionally charged, high-impact style anchored by expansive vocals and massive guitar tones. The band’s self-titled debut album appeared in 2006, followed by the EP Some Kind of Alchemy in 2009.

Momentum from “Soldiers” secured a deal with Century Media, which issued the sophomore album True Love Never Dies in 2012. The Enjoy the Pain EP arrived the next year, and Peace at All Costs followed in 2014, becoming the band’s highest-charting project to date. Sleeping Lions, released in 2017, marked their final outing for Century Media. The group then moved to Mascot Records for Defy in 2019.

A run of high-energy singles surfaced in 2022, among them the active-rock hit “Full Disclosure,” all of which were collected on the sixth studio album Gawdzillionaire in 2023.
