Biography
Hailing from Charlotte, North Carolina, the quartet Another Lost Year—known to supporters as ALY—fuses melodic touches with heavy intensity across its hard-hitting rock sound, echoing Shinedown and Breaking Benjamin. The group originated in 2011 when lead singer/guitarist Clinton Cunanan encountered bassist/vocalist Adam Hall at an open-mike night. Drummer/vocalist Nathan Walker and guitarist/vocalist Jorge Sotomarino were then recruited to finalize the roster. After signing with Mirage M'hal Records, Another Lost Year entered the studio with producer Jose Urquiza to lay down its 2012 debut, Better Days, whose chugging guitar riffs, pounding drums, and vocal harmonies came from all four members. The Revolution, Pt. 1: The Other Side followed two years afterward. In 2016, while maintaining a steady schedule of U.S. tours, the band issued the single "Wolves."
