Drawing inspiration from Bad Company, Led Zeppelin, and the Black Crowes, the English five-piece Bad Touch delivers Southern-flavored, bluesy hard rock on releases such as the 2018 album Shake a Leg.

The group assembled in Norfolk in 2009 while its members were still attending college. The lineup features Stevie Westwood on vocals, Rob Glendinning on guitar, Daniel "Seeks" Seekings handling guitar and vocals, Michael Bailey on bass, and George Drewry supplying drums and vocals. Their debut EP, Born to Please, surfaced in 2012. Later that year the band received the Exposure Music Award for its live performances, an early sign of its dedication to constant touring. In 2013, Bad Touch joined the Quireboys on the road and took first place in the Marshall Ultimate Band Contest. The following year brought the group’s first appearance at Download Festival. Its first full-length record, Half Way Home, arrived in 2015, after which the members crisscrossed the U.K. in support. Work on a sophomore effort began soon afterward, resulting in the 2016 release Truth Be Told. Over the next few years the band started work on its third album and signed with Marshall Records. Shake a Leg appeared in 2018, produced, engineered, and mixed by Andy Hodgson.
