Edwin

Canadian singer Edwin spent his formative years in Toronto, where he helped establish I Mother Earth as a founding member in 1990. He remained with the band for seven years, appearing on both of its albums—Dig (1993) and Scenery & Fish (1996)—and also contributed vocals to Victor (1996), the solo album by Rush guitarist Alex Lifeson. In September 1997 he publicly announced his departure from I Mother Earth. After signing with Sony Music Canada he completed his debut solo album, Another Spin Around the Sun, which appeared in Canada on April 27, 1999. The project proved notably successful, generating four singles. Columbia Records brought Another Spin Around the Sun to U.S. stores in July 2000.
