Envy Of None

Formed in 2021, Envy of None fuses icy alternative synth rock, lofty progressive rock, and dark contemporary pop. Guitar legend Alex Lifeson of Rush, bassist Andy Curran from Coney Hatch, producer and engineer Alfio Annibalini, and singer-songwriter Maiah Wynne established the Canadian-American quartet. Lifeson’s inventive guitar work and Wynne’s incisive vocals paired with spectral melodies propelled the outfit forward. The group issued the singles “Liar” and “Look Inside” during the first half of 2022. Both tracks later surfaced on the band’s self-titled full-length debut, which arrived later that same year. In 2023 the ensemble returned with That Was Then, This Is Now, an outing containing remixes of two prior releases alongside three fresh compositions.
