Everyone You Know

Hailing from towns on the fringes of London, brothers Rhys Kirkby-Cox and Harvey Kirkby form the duo Everyone You Know, which blends hip-hop, punk, and 1990s rave. Their sound captures the reality of small-town life in the U.K., where limited local options still prompt people to generate their own momentum.

Family left a deep mark on the pair, above all their father, a devoted jungle and hip-hop enthusiast who also worked as a DJ, and their uncle, himself a producer. After pursuing music production on their own, the siblings eventually teamed up as Everyone You Know, which soon attracted RCA Records and yielded the debut EP Cheer Up Charlie in 2018. The duo maintained its stride with gigs across the U.K., the follow-up EP Look After Your Pennies in 2019, and finally the first album, Just for the Times, in 2021.
