Biography
The six musicians who comprise Everything first crossed paths as students at Virginia's James Madison University. The group came together in 1989 and shifted to a full-time touring schedule three years later. Richard Bradley (tenor sax, guitar, percussion, vocals), Nathan Brown (drums, percussion, lead vocals), Craig Honeycutt (guitar, lead vocals), Mark Reinhardt (keyboards, trumpet, trombone, vocals), David Slankard (bass) and Stephen Van Dam (guitar, alto sax, clarinet, vocals) blend funk, rock, ska, jazz, and Latin influences on their Capricorn debut, Labrador (1995), which had already appeared on the band's own imprint the previous summer. Super Natural arrived in 1998 and featured the single "Hooch," which gained traction after its inclusion on the soundtrack for The Waterboy. Following a break and a two-year studio stretch, the ensemble resurfaced in 2001 with People Are Moving.
