K-pop boy band Evnne fuse dance-oriented pop with ballads in a style that quickly caught listeners’ attention. Their first release, the 2023 EP Target: Me, entered the South Korean Circle Albums chart at number one behind the single “Trouble,” and they followed it in 2024 with Un: Seen, which contained “Ugly,” and Ride or Die.

The seven members—Keita, Park Han-bin, Lee Jeong-hyeon, Ji Yun-seo, Yoo Seung-eon, Mun Jung-hyun, and Park Ji-hoo—came together in Seoul during 2023 after each had appeared on the Mnet survival program Boys Planet and been eliminated. Jellyfish Entertainment assembled them under the working title BLIT, short for “Boldly Leaping Into Tomorrow,” before they settled on the name Evnne, an abbreviation of “Evening’s Newest Etoiles.”

January 2024 brought their second EP, Un: Seen, which peaked at number two on the domestic albums chart; the track “Ugly” from that set topped the weekly tallies of both Show Champion and Music Bank. Their third EP, Ride or Die, arrived that June and featured the single “Badder Love,” earning another Top Ten placement on the Circle Albums chart.
