Felix Meyer

German singer Felix Meyer entered the world in Berlin during 1975, spending his early years across Bavaria and the capital city prior to settling in Hamburg. His group Project Île, whose lineup included guitarist Olaf Niebuhr and guitarist/percussionist Erik Manouz, allowed him to busk throughout Europe for more than fifteen years until producer Peter Hoffmann (Tokio Hotel) encountered him in Lüneburg. In 2010, Hoffmann joined forces with producer Franz Plasa to capture the album Von Engeln und Schweinen with Meyer, an effort built largely around original German-language material. That year also saw Meyer stage a street-musician festival in Lüneburg that gathered performers first met on his travels across Germany. Once signed to 105 Music, he delivered his second album, 2012's Erste Liebe/Letzter Tanz, which reached number 45 on the German charts.
