Biography
Hailing from Nashville, Five Knives produce brash, confrontational electroclash that merges energetic dance-pop suitable for clubs with intense techno beats. The band came together in Nashville during 2012 and includes frontwoman Anna M'Queen, whose lively singing style, rap verses drawing from punk, and bold performance presence evoke comparisons to Ke$ha, Lady Gaga, along with Yo-Landi Vi$$er from Die Antwoord. Their first extended play, titled The Rising, came out via Red Bull Records in 2013. In the following year, the track "Sugar" was issued by the group.
