Biography
Underground synth pop innovators resembling Cold Cave and Silk Flowers came together as Former Ghosts, initiated by Freddy Ruppert on vocals, keyboards, and programming, who previously worked with This Song Is a Mess But So Am I. The lineup also includes Jamie Stewart of Xiu Xiu handling vocals and synths alongside Niko Roza from Zola Jesus on vocals. Their inaugural tour took place during spring 2009, followed by a summer announcement regarding an upcoming debut album, which arrived in the fall as Fleurs on the Upset the Rhythm label.
