Biography
Born in Untertweng, Austria, on October 24, 1958, Gottfried Würcher joined forces with others in 1982 to launch the Nockalmstraße Quintet. The group accumulated numerous awards across the following decades, among them the Grand Prix of folk music in 2002. Würcher issued his debut solo album, So Bin Ich, in 2008.
