Biography
Fronted by vocalist Alicia Villarreal, the six-piece Tejano ensemble Grupo Limite originated in Monterrey. Their 1996 debut LP Por Puro Amor triggered immediate acclaim, surpassing one million units sold through the number-one hits "Vete," "Quiero" and "Te Aprovechas." Rompiendome El Alma arrived soon after, followed by the 1997 release Sentimientos. En Vivo-En Concierto surfaced two years later, with Por Encima de Todo among the projects issued in 2000.
