Los Tigrillos

The Mexican ensemble Los Tigrillos originated during the initial years of the 1980s. Their introductory offering arrived via a self-titled album in 1985, followed by the 1987 release Mire Amigo and Tremenda Punalada in 1988. Blending Cumbia with norteño traditions, the group reached a turning point after signing to MCM in 1995. The next year brought the well-received Cumbias Con Garra. That accomplishment elevated them to gold status, an achievement they duplicated with the 1998 album Dejando Huella.
