From Guanajuato, Mexico came Grupo Tentacion, whose lineup featured vocalists Noé Martín and Jerónimo Lozano alongside keyboardist Angel Vargas, guitarist Wilfredo Montes, bassist Jesús Vargas and percussionist Latino Cervantes. Their first release arrived in 1992 as the album Amandote, which yielded hits such as "El Seis," "Cancion de Amor" and "Loco de Amor." The follow-up, La Huerfanita, appeared the next year and found similar favor thanks to the tracks "Andale" and "Mi Mera Mera." Success carried the band forward for the rest of the decade.
