Sergio Sanchez Ayon fronts Los Titanes de Durango as its singer, songwriter, and accordionist. The grupero foursome fuses banda, norteño, and duranguense elements into a style that quickly moved past its Culiacán, Sinaloa, Mexico origins to reach listeners throughout the American Southwest and well beyond. In 2008 the quartet notched its first Top 40 hit with “El Borracho.”
