Guilherme & Santiago

Originating from Goiás, Brazil, the sertanejo duo Guilherme & Santiago built an extensive discography that includes multiple Top Ten successes and first gained widespread recognition near the start of the new millennium. The pair, consisting of Guilherme Herickson and Santiago Henzzo—both natives of Goiânia who grew up in Jataí—came together in 1995. After issuing four early projects that carried the shared title Guilherme & Santiago and were commonly identified as Vols. 1-4, they achieved greater commercial peaks in the mid-2000s through the releases Azul (2002), Nosso Amor (2003), and Chovendo Estrelas (2004). Marking a decade together, they issued the live acoustic set 10 Anos Acústico ao Vivo in 2005. Most of the recordings that followed in the second half of that decade captured performances captured onstage. Entering the subsequent decade, they delivered Tudo Tem um Porque (2010), which climbed to a Top Ten position on the Brazilian albums chart.
