Biography
Distinguishing it from an unrelated R&B ensemble that bore the identical moniker during the 1990s, the racially diverse and mixed-gender children's pop ensemble known as Hi-5 has cycled through various personnel over its existence. Its associated television program debuted its initial installment at the beginning of 1999, after which multiple recordings appeared, such as the 2000 release It's a Party along with the 2004 efforts Boom Boom Beat and Jump and Jive with Hi-5. Additional holiday-themed projects include 5 Days to Christmas from 2004 and It's a Hi-5 Christmas issued in 2005.
